The REform Void
(Short Film)
THE REFORM VOID takes place in the world from a larger script that I have written and plan to develop. This world is defined by its dystopian society in which a totalitarian government rules over their citizens by using technology, media, and bio weapons to suppress their soul and inner free will. Sometimes, a person’s inner strength can push beyond the government conditioning and shows them that they do not have to conform.
If they are caught however, they are sent to what you are seeing in this short film, THE REFORM VOID. This void aims to re-condition them, to kill their soul entirely through a technological spell procedure.
Underground, a group of individuals lead a life through energetic and ethereal music towards unity. Their aim is to use the universality of music to break people out of their spell and tap back into their souls. Here, one of those individuals finds the void…
Is there hope for these two?
Hope you enjoy this & consider the story’s implication in our current daily lives and the world we live in❤️

Peter Siskos
in the midst of the greek civil war
(2021 Documentary Short)
This documentary holds a special place in my heart. At its center is my 90-year-old grandfather, Peter (Petro) Siskos.
-
One night, I sat down with my grandfather, set up a camera, and asked him a multitude of questions about his life. A session in which I though would be 1 or 2 hours, ended up being an extravagant 7 hour experience. The stories of his youth ranged from near death experiences, to hilarious memories... topics of immigration, family life, loneliness, society, class divide, success, and faith.
For this short documentary, I wanted to pinpoint a topic that was discussed earlier on in our session; the death of his mother and the political implications that caused it...

The Setting: Greece, 1948.
The Greek Civil War was in its climax. Civilians were surrounded by extreme danger, given the brutality of both sides of the war: the Greek Government’s army and the Military Communist Party (referred to as the Guerrillas)-- and a 17-year-old Petro's life would never be the same....

white sparrows
WHITE SPARROWS (2017) is a short film by Nickolas Aurilius is made to coincide with the song "White Sparrows" by Billy Talent. This song has done a great job of incorporating the mood of a story well within the music. The song is emotional, its dark, and it's very angry. In creating a video for it, the aim was to reference the artistic soundscape, and create visuals that take on their own meaning. As a filmmaker and a musician, I aimed to understand the mood and passion, and create my own artistic story.

PSA: Make A CHANGE
MAKE A CHANGE (2017) is a short film Public Service Announcement that aims to address many problems concerning young people in our society; regarding mental health, acceptance, insecurity, conformity, and bullying. The goal of this film was to make viewers see these issues with a fresh new lens, see how it affects them, and hopefully motivates them to share it's message.
