Biography

Nickolas Aurilius is a Musician/Composer, Singer, Producer, Writer, Filmmaker, Cinematographer, Photographer, and Actor.

“Wolvie”, as his mother calls him, was recognized at a very young age as being able to play anything he heard by ear on piano. His grandmother was a professional Accordion player in Greece & was a huge early influence on his love for music. Nick’s mother started calling him "Wolvie" when just a child, after she saw him put his own spin on a song just after he heard it, which shocked her in his resemblance to the abilities of Wolfgang A. Mozart (Nick has also founded Wolvie Records in homage to the name).

Starting piano at the age of 4, he has developed his expertise with musical elements of jazz, film composition, classical, Afro-Cuban, Rhythm and Blues, Rock, Gospel and Greek music—combining aspects of his background to form his own new unique sound. This sound, signified by his diverse & ravishing style of singing & eccentric piano showmanship, bleeds through his producing. At age 7, Aurilius began playing & composing on the piano 3 hours every day until performing live at a professional level in his early teens.

Now, at the young age of 20, his piano work has fueled his expansive knowledge of organs, synthesizers, & other keyboard-oriented production elements. He is also skilled guitarist, tenor saxophonist, and conga drummer. Forming several bands in his 10 year long performing career, he has performed in various clubs, resorts, and other venues in Toronto Canada, Cuba, and many European countries.

An avid film director and content creator, he had begun his cinematic journey early on as well. Now, having directed several short narrative films, documentaries, and music videos, he is currently working on releasing several music singles while in post production for one of his larger passion projects... On the dramatic stage, Nickolas has been a part of several musical productions and dramas, including playing roles such as “Dallas” in “The Outsiders”, the “Beast” in last year’s musical “Beauty and the Beast”, and Noah in “Children of Eden".
