“Ecstasy” is the state of nirvana/consciousness/higher power that we strive to work towards… bringing out a mindset free of anxiety, free of neglect, fear, and depression, and onto a state of acceptance, for when we accept our existence in the present moment, we begin to see how we can shape our world to attract what we want and find ecstasy in one another.
“Lullabies” is being in a state of peace, being in harmony with each other, for when we accept and love ourselves in the present, only then could we sing lullabies to each other—another way of saying confide, love, and be vulnerable with each other (within intimacy, but also within our action and reaction in our communities).

The untraditional structure allows for an instinctual representation as well; the dynamic range is consistently fluctuating with each section, thin to full—up and down constantly, ultimately bringing all the ethereal elements together for grand impact at the final climax payoff where Nick’s 3 and a half octave range comes in handy to deliver an angelic choir climax chanting “Ecstasy”. This climax isn’t unbearable though/ This climax remains pleasant though, as Aurilius manages to keep as it keeps its chill laidback, lo-fi inspired style through to the end of each vocal riff.
